One year old and a frog!

I meant to post the previous post a long time ago.  Oops! I wrote it but never got it up.  Jordan has now had his 1st birthday.  Yes, I did have a litle freak out moment when I thought about having a toddler!  He loved his basketball cake.  I amazed myself and made him a layered basketball cake for him to have all him own.  A couple of years ago I would have thought that was impossible.  He is loving his basketball hoop that Gram and Gramo Fish got him.  He can make ten shots in row and loves to dunk it.  It hangs down over the door and is adjustable to be any height.  So he has it right at his shoulders now, perfect!  He hates his new swing still, not sure why.  He loves the play table that sings to him and loves to drive around the cars that Grandma and Grandpa Clarke got him.  They make LOTS of noise.

We are adjusting nicely to Steve's new work schedule.  He loves his new job and all of the great people he gets to work with.  It doesn't hurt either that a group of them plays basketball a couple of times a week.  I am feeling the third trimester but still feeling pretty good.  I will admit I am getting nervous about thinking about the two of them versus me in a couple of months.  But with all of the nerves we are so excited for Gregory to join our family!

A House of Boys!!

It is official.  I will be living a in house surrounded by boys.  Baby boy number two is growing fast and is on his way to joining us on July 11th.

My Lucky Leprechaun!

Our crazy Jordan is growing sooo fast and learning so quickly.  He is crawling everywhere, but mostly to wherever we are.  He loves remotes and can find them in the strangest places, especially at Grandma and Grandpa Fisher's house.  He started standing up right after he decided to crawl.  Now all the low tabletops are clear of anything, besides maybe his toys or treats.  I think they will be this way for a looong time.  He is now in the phase of continual bruises and a skinned nose, and he hasnt even started to try and walk.  Today's skinned nose was the result of his launching himself from the bed.  One second he was sitting nicely and playing with a toy in the middle of our bed while I was standing next to him and the next he jumped across the bed flung himself head first towards the floor.  Luckily Steven thought it was funny so his laughing helped calm Jordan and me.  I was glad that he didnt end up getting the chance to apply the story in his lesson for elder's quorum.  He was going to try.  I almost forgot, Jordan has also learned to give kisses.  So if anyone needs some cheering up come and get a wet one from Jordy-bug!

Although this picture looks like the hat is photoshopped in, it is not.  He really made this face when Steven put it on him in the store.  This picture still makes my laugh!  He is such a cute kid.
This is just a scarey man trying to talk to Jordan.

Babies....Yes, that is plural!!

We found out just before Thanksgiving that we are expecting baby number 2!!!  Although things started out rough with sickness, and with the crazy move, things did get better.  We have come down with terrible colds and a bad flu but are hoping that all of that is behind us and we can continue to move forward. Baby's due date is July 11th, 2012.  For those of you that are trying to do the math that is just 3 months after Jordan's 1st birthday.  We are so excited to find out whether Jordan is going to be a big brother or sister!! JK, we were just checking you there!  We are so happy to have a growing family and hope we can keep up with the kids!

Moving at Christmas...The worst tradition ever!!

Steven and I are moving back to Idaho.  We are so excited and overwhelmed at the same time.  It has been crazy to be packing up our Christmas things before it ever came.  We are happy to be going back to the Boise area.  Ma and Pa Fish are taking us in for a while until we get things started down there with work.  We have a standing sunday dinner invitation and couldnt be more excited about it. I still dream of Mom's cookin.  I guess we will be hosting the football parties in our "apartment".  Although this is the worst tradition ever, to move every Christmas, we feel blessed that we get the gift of being close to parents for Christmas.

Mom decided to announce in Young Women's class on Sunday that Kimi was no long going to be an only child at home....a gasped from the crowd!!!  Dear Mom didnt even think about how she was announcing me moving home, her announcement was temporarily mistaken for another ancouncement. hehehe!!!  We love MOM!!!
